Jennifer Reeves – K

I am thrilled to be teaching K this year and to officially be part of the CCA family.  My husband and I knew right away that CCA would be the right fit for our family.

Monica Minzenmayer – Dean of Character Development – Grammar 4 Teacher

When prayerfully considering my children’s education, I knew I wanted a school that is Christ-centered, academically rigorous, and emphasizes character development. God answered my prayers when a friend told me about Cross Classical Academy. I love teaching the precious students in my class on the school days and I cherish teaching my own children at home on our homeschool days. Most of all I am thankful that our faith in God is central to the academic and spiritual development of the students at CCA.

Brenda Wood – Grammar 1

Serving at Cross Classical is an answer to prayer.  God blesses me every day I teach my precious students.  I believe there is nothing more important than investing in the lives of these children and their families.

Cathy Ash – Grammar 2

It is such a privilege to influence and encourage students lives in a way that will impact them now and for eternity.  I believe that giving them the tools and ability to express themselves will allow them to worship in an exciting way!

Kara Bessent – Grammar 5

I was a public school teacher for five years before the birth of my oldest daughter.  I have stayed at home with my three children ever since.  God orchestrated my coming back to teaching, which is something I truly love to do, through Cross Classical Academy.  I love being able to teach and incorporate my faith in my teaching! It is a wonderful faith centered place to work and learn.

Marie Clarkson – Music

God has led me to be a music teacher of young children and to strive to cultivate a love for the gift of music that God has given us.  Cross Classical is one of the schools I teach at because I want to support the God-centered, parent-involved, mind nurturing type of education that they are presenting.

Angie Harrell – Spanish

Before our children were ever born my husband and I began to pray and seek direction for our children’s education. Our hope is that they grow in wisdom and knowledge of who they are in Christ, and come to embrace and see manifested every promise God has made possible to all who believe. We knew this would take something other than a traditional educational experience. We needed a school that would help support our family, our Christian beliefs and help us create an environment to raise up wise leaders for the next generation. We know that it is no coincidence that Cross Classical Academy was coming together in the very same years we were believing God for His timely wisdom and direction, or that it was founded in the same year our first child was born. We came to know of the school in the summer of 2014 through a dear friend who had recently heard of CCA from a family that was already attending the school. After our first visit, we knew Cross Classical Academy was an answer to our prayer! We are richly blessed to be a part of CCA, and most recently, humbled by the opportunity to share an introduction into the colorful language of Español.

Norita Hallum – Art

At this time in my life I feel so blessed because God opened a door for me to be involved with CCA from its beginning.  I was chosen to be one of the liaison persons between Union Presbyterian Church and Cross Classical Academy as they began their journey in establishing the school located at UPC.  There were bumps along the road but God was at work and it was very humbling to see what his vision was for the school.  Through the years some of my most memorable moments have been teaching children and sharing my love of art and faith in God with them.  Art has the role in education of helping children become like themselves instead of more like everyone else.  God made us all unique.  I hope I can help them discover their own uniqueness in God’s world.  Being a part of CCA is belonging to a family of God who does not just talk about their faith but they live it everyday.

Mary Butka – Science

We are so grateful to be part of the CCA Family and thankful that it was an option when our girls started Kindergarten.  The opportunity to teach Science to these amazing kids is an added bonus and such a blessing!  CCA truly is like one big family and we are thrilled to be a part of it.

Cross Classical Academy partners with Christian parents to provide for their children a classical education founded upon a Biblical Worldview.
