CCA Robotics Team Places 1st at Region 16 Robotics Competition

Cross Classical Academy Places 1st in Region 15 Robotics Competition

November 8, 2016 – Cross Classical Academy recently earned 1st place at the Education Service Center Region 15 Robotics competition help Monday, November 7, in San Angelo. CCA competed against 98 teams from the area. The competition was sponsored by the Education Service Center 15 and hosted by Angelo State University.

“CCA took three teams to competition and we are extremely proud of the work all of them,” said CCA Stephanie Davis, CCA administrator. Teams will now continue to improve their robots for the Area competition to be held in January.

Robotics teams design a robot and then program the robot to maneuver through various tasks in order to complete challenge within a two minute time period.
